APPLICATION NUMBER 21/01331/FUL CIVIC SUITE, NO. 2 HOCKLEY ROAD, RAYLEIGH, SS6 8EB PART DEMOLITION AND CONVERSION OF EXISTING BUILDING TO FORM 302 SQUARE METRES OF OFFICE ACCOMODATION (CLASS E (C) AND (G)) AND ERECTION OF NEW BUILDINGS TO CREATE 12 NEW HOMES (APARTMENT BLOCK CONSISTING OF 1NO. The application for the part demolition of Rayleigh Civic Suite and the new build of 12 dwellings, was approved by the development committee tonight. Non-committee members James Newport & Jim Cripps, along with Mike Wilkinson (Ind) spoke against the development with little effect on the committee members. Cllr Chris Stanley moved for refusal of the application but the vote was lost.
